Terre des Hommes France stages its annual FORMaCTION day on November 5 at the University of Paris VIII Saint-Denis.
This year the theme is ‘The Economic and Social Impact of Mega Sporting Events’. The day will begin with a screening of our award-winning documentary The Fighter, followed by a presentation of the Children Win campaign by the Head of campaign, Marc Joly, and debate on the issues that surround the Children Win campaign.
Vincent Boury, France’s former Olympic table tennis gold medal winner in 2008 who’s now a management consultant, will focus on the Games’ impact upon children in Rio’s favelas.
Finally, a round table discussion hosted by Benoit Menard will relate the Olympics’ social and economic impact to what that means for Paris’ bid to host the 2024 Games.
